We offer new silicone preparations for the impregnation of paving blocks: SARSIL®bruk, DECO-BRUK…
Surface preparation
The surface that is to be impregnated should be thoroughly cleaned with water. It is recommended to make use of the chemical called SARSIL® czyścik to remove difficult removable stains. The compound is to be used in a proper dilution, in keeping with a ratio shown in the label. SARSIL® bruk is to be applied on dry surface on a dry rainless day in a temperature ranging from +5 to +30 °C.
Application:
Impregnation can be made with the use of a brush, paint roller or paint spray. Two rounds of impregnation are recommended within a short interval of time - "wet on wet". (Another coat is to be applied depending on an ambient temperature, yet not later than 30 minutes after the application of the first coat, i.e. as long as the surface is still wet.) A surface is to be impregnated accurately and uniformly.
Yield: 1.5 - 3 m² from 1 kg - two rounds of impregnation. Yield depends on paving block absorbability and a specific application technique.
SARSIL® bruk:
• excellently impregnates surface, lending it water repellence,
• penetrates through the substrate, creating a protective coat that is resistant to weather elements, UV rays and a number of chemical media,
• does not affect material "breathability",
• reduces vulnerability to dirt and facilitates self-cleaning of pavement blocks washed down by rain,
• increases frost resistance,
• refines the surface and intensified colours
DECO-BRUK
Silicone-based preparation for the impregnation of paving blocks.
PROPERTIES
DECO-BRUK is a solvent-based solution of silicone compounds.
Colour: straw yellow
Intended use:
Silicone resin-based varnish for concrete. It is used for the protection of concrete surface, e.g. coloured paving blocks.
DECO-BRUK:
- regenerates faded surfaces
- protects against weather elements
- prevents colour fading
- protects against UV rays
- intended for the renovation of already laid pavement blocks that have lost colour due to the weather
- penetrating the concrete structure up to 0.5 mm, the varnish forms an invisible coat that is not washed out for 5 years, giving a "wet block" effect
Intended use:
- paving blocks
- curbs
- paving slabs
- fencing
- architectural concrete
